Watch KONY 2012 here.

I’m all for this BUT I’m a little weary of foreign aid services. The results are usually a temporary fix - (look at Save Darfur , Rwandan Genocide, Ethiopian famines campaigns, Haiti etc..) Please don’t settle by reading and going off this one source alone. Make sure you hear from Ugandan and African voices on this issue, they know it and live this firsthand. And there are also plenty of examples of children & youth from N. Uganda who are agents of their change within their communities donate/support those organizations too not just this one campaign that seemingly decides what is best for those in need. Also these children were never ‘invisible’ as this organization says, for the past 26 years they’ve been in the heart and minds of their families and communities. l am pleased awareness is being brought to this and that it’s captured our generation’s attention even though it will probably be for a while. Just don’t be naive enough to think it starts and ends with Kony, this is not as simple as they’re making it seem.

^ALL OF THIS.
